NHPC has achieved indigenously without any external support-R.K. Vishnoi

NHPC organized a grand Hindi Kavi Sammelan on February 24^th 2023 at its Corporate Office, Faridabad to promote Rajbhasha throughout the company. Shri R.K. Vishnoi, CMD, NHPC inaugurated the Kavi Sammelan by lighting the traditional lamp. Shri Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical) / Director (Personnel), Shri R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), Shri Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects), Shri Santosh Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer, and other senior officers and employees were also present on the occasion. Smt. Chanchal Vishnoi, Smt. Pushpa Chaubey, Smt. Gayatri Goyal and other members of the Ladies welfare association were also present during the Kavi Sammelan.

On this occasion, Shri R.K. Vishnoi, CMD, NHPC addressed the employees of the Corporate Office and personnel of remotely located projects, power stations, and regional offices through webcasting. In his address, he appreciated the hard work and dedication of the employees working in the most difficult conditions. He showcased the achievements of NHPC in hydropower development since its inception which NHPC has achieved indigenously without any external support. He further said that NHPC has proved that hydro projects can be completed in most remote locations under challenging circumstances. He also encouraged the employees to work with full commitment and assured the full support of the management employees.

During the Kavi Sammelan, renowned poets including Padma Shri Sunil Jogi, Shri Shambhu Shikar, Shri Yogendra Sharma, Shri Vineet Chauhan, Shri Rajesh Chetan, Shri Rajesh Agarwal, and Smt Gauri Mishra enthralled the audience with various poetic recitals based on different poetic ‘rasas’ and also dealing with patriotic and social issues.
