New Delhi Head office: Engineers India Limited (EIL) commemorated India’s 77th Independence Day on August 16, 2023, by inaugurating the National Tricolour at the New Delhi Head Office and EIL Gurugram Complex. The day’s events encompassed a variety of engaging programs and initiatives for employees. Orchestrated by C&MD EIL, Ms Vartika Shukla, in collaboration with Functional Directors & CVO, the festivities encompassed the presentation of annual accolades that acknowledged exceptional talents, paid homage to India’s valiant freedom fighters and war heroes, and featured cultural showcases by EIL staff and their families, infusing the celebrations with patriotic zeal.
During the occasion, Ms Shukla articulated the vision laid out by the Hon’ble PMO of India, aimed at elevating the country to the status of a developed nation by its 100th Centenary year. She underscored the pivotal role EIL can play in realizing this transformative vision. EIL recognized its employees for their exemplary contributions throughout the fiscal year 2022-23, presenting awards across several categories including “Best Employee in the staff category,” “Executive of the Year,” “Awards for Individual and Team Innovation,” and “Technical Paper Writing Competition.”
Furthermore, EIL employees deployed at project sites and branches worldwide actively participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign by the Government of India. This initiative saw employees unfurling the National Tricolour at their homes and respective workplaces, symbolizing a unified spirit of patriotism.
