THDCIL Strengthens Ethical Governance Through Annual Vigilance Meet 2025

Rishikesh, 25 March 2025: THDC India Limited (THDCIL) successfully organized its Annual Vigilance Meet 2025 in Alleppey, Kerala, from March 25 to 27, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and ethical governance. The event, inaugurated by Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), in the presence of Ms. Rashmita Jha (IRS), CVO, and other senior officials, focused on strengthening corporate ethics, compliance frameworks, and vigilance mechanisms.

Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, CMD, THDCIL, emphasized that vigilance is not just a compliance measure but a fundamental value that fosters accountability and trust. He urged employees to integrate ethical practices into daily operations, ensuring transparency at every level. Sh. Singh further highlighted that integrity and fair practices are key to long-term success, benefiting employees, businesses, and society.

The meet showcased THDCIL’s vigilance initiatives, including the Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001:2016) and enhanced Complaint Handling Modules for greater transparency. Recent achievements in the power sector were also highlighted, such as the commissioning of the 1320 MW Khurja Super Thermal Power Project, the dry run of the 1000 MW PSP at Tehri, and the ahead-of-schedule operationalization of Amelia Coal Mines.

With the participation of 25 vigilance executives, the meet featured sessions on preventive vigilance and corporate ethics. Concluding the event, Sh. Singh reinforced the significance of ethical governance with the Sanskrit shloka, “धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः” (When we uphold righteousness, righteousness protects us in return). Through such initiatives, THDCIL continues to lead the way in ethical corporate governance and vigilance.
