Rishikesh: R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director, congratulated team THDC India Limited (THDCIL) on the signing ofa Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to provide technical services as the “Technical Consultant.” The signing ceremony took place at the NHAI Headquarters in New Delhi on 04th July, 2023.
Sh. Vishnoi informed that, under this agreement, THDCIL will be responsible for assessing landslide susceptibility areas and recommending mitigation measures for vulnerable slopes between Udhampur and Ramban on NH44. Sh. Vishnoi stated that this stretch of road is of utmost National strategic importance, as it provides the vital link of the Nation with Kashmir Valley.This collaboration between THDCIL and NHAI aims to enhance road safety and ensure the stability of the region’s infrastructure, particularly the National Highway, by addressing the risks associated with landslides, he added.
Sh. Vishnoi stated that it’s a significant development that highlights recognition of THDCIL’s expertise and commitment in providing technical solutions for Infrastructure Projects. This partnership will contribute to the overall improvement and maintenance of critical transportation infrastructure in the region.
Sh. Atul Jain, ED (Technical) from THDCIL, and Sh. Amarendra Kumar, CGM (T) of NHAI, respectively performed the signing ceremony on behalf of their organizations.The signing ceremony was attended by Sh. Niraj Kumar Agrawal, AGM (Design-Civil), Sh. Avkesh Kumar, Manager (Design-Civil) from THDCIL, and Sh. P.N. Gawasane, GM (T), accompanied with other senior officers of the both the organizations.
