SBI DONATED RUPEES 25 LAKHS TO SHEELA SHARMA MEMORIAL CHARITABLE TRUST

FOR SETTING UP OPERATION THEATRE FOR CANCER PATIENTS AT SHANKAR INSTITUTE OF CANCER THERAPY & RESEARCH CENTRE, MATHURA.

Agra : State Bank of India under Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility donated Rs.25 lakhs to Dr. Sheela Sharma Memorial Charitable Trust, Mathura who runs Shankar Institute of Cancer Therapy & Research Centre at Masani-Delhi road, Mathura for setting up of a semi modular operation theatre for safe cancer surgery and procurement of necessary surgical equipment’s.

On the occasion, Shri Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, New Delhi Circle reiterated the Bank’s commitment towards social cause and said that Bank gives back some of its profit to the society in the form of CSR donations. Shri Prabhat Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Network-II), New Delhi Circle, Shri Debashish Mitra, Deputy General Manager, Agra Admin. Office and other senior officials of the Bank were also present in the function.

Shri Ronjan handed over Cheque to Shri S.K. Sharma, President, Dr. Sheela Sharma Memorial Charitable Trust in a small gathering at Bank’s Administrative Office, Agra. Shri Sharma thanked State Bank for this benevolent gesture by donation and signified that this operation theatre will be very beneficial for cancer patients of this area.

On this juncture, MSME Loan Mela was also organized by the Bank in which Shri Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager handed over loan sanctioned letters to 101 entrepreneurs.
