PFC extends Financial Assistance to Community Health Center (C.H.C) Gulaothi, Bulandshahr under its CSR Initiative
New Delhi, , PFC, A Maharatna Company and India’s leading NBFC in power sector, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to provide Financial Assistance for upgrading Community Health Center (C.H.C) Gulaothi in Bulandshahr District, Uttar Pradesh. The MoA was signed through Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS), Gulaothi.
As per the MoA, PFC will provide a financial assistance for upgradation of medical facilities including ICU and general beds. The MoA was signed between PFC and C.H.C in the presence of Smt. Parminder Chopra, Director (Finance) PFC. Shri Rizwanur Rahman, Executive Director (CSR), Dr. Pawan Kumar, Chairman, RKS and Medical Officer & In-charge CHC Gulaothi, Bulandshahr, Shri M. Prabhakar Das, Chief General Manager (CSR) and other Senior Officials of C.H.C and PFC were also present on this occasion.
Located on NH-334, the Community Health Center (C.H.C) Gulaothi is the first point of treatment for most of the accident cases and also act as a first point of referral within a radius of 25 kms of, Bulandshahr. The upgradation will help in bridging the gap arising due to lack of medical equipment and resources which sometimes has led to unfortunate death of critical cases.
The project will be implemented in a time-period of 3 months and will help in providing improved healthcare services in and around Gulaothi, Bulandshahr. The objective behind extending financial assistance is to strengthen the quality and delivery of healthcare services among the local communities which is important to ensure accessibility, affordability and availability of healthcare services to the urban poor communities. PFC aims to improve health outcomes among rural/urban population with focus on overall healthcare.
