Order to Execution Takes Time – NBCC Director

New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has recently signed several significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), marking a major step toward its infrastructure development goals. However, the company’s director has shed light on the challenges and time required to execute these ambitious projects.
Key MoUs Signed:
1. Collaboration with HUDCO:
An MoU worth ₹600 crore was signed for the development of an institutional complex in Sector-62, Noida.
2. Agreement with Delhi University:
NBCC inked a ₹213 crore deal for infrastructure development at Motilal Nehru College under Delhi University.
3. Partnership with MTNL:
A project worth ₹1,600 crore was finalized with MTNL for the redevelopment of a prime land parcel on Pankha Road, New Delhi.
Challenges in Execution:
Speaking to NewsIP, an NBCC director stated, “It takes at least six months or even longer to convert an order into execution. We need to secure approvals from multiple departments, which involves several complications and challenges.”
The Road Ahead:
These MoUs reflect NBCC’s commitment to driving infrastructure growth in India. However, timely execution requires efficient coordination and overcoming regulatory and administrative hurdles.
