New Delhi: The coveted position of Technical Director at the state-run hydropower giant, NHPC, has attracted significant attention, with more than 68 candidates submitting their applications, sources close to the matter revealed.
The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) had earlier issued an advertisement for the post, which became vacant following the appointment of Mr. R. K. Choudhry as the company’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). The deadline for applications has now officially closed.
In the next phase, a shortlist of 12 candidates is expected to be drawn up for interviews, marking the final stage of the selection process. The NHPC leadership position is seen as a critical role, given the company’s prominence in India’s renewable energy sector.
