Subansiri and Parbati-2 Are Key: Power Secretary Demands NHPC’s Completion Dates

– The project is making steady progress, with the remaining construction expected to be finalized by *December 2024*.
– NHPC anticipates that the commissioning of the plant will take place in *January 2025*, adding substantial power generation capacity to the grid.

2. *Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project:*
– Hydro mechanical works will begin after the completion of the upstream dyke.
– The erection of radial gates is planned for *January-February 2025, with the first three units expected to be commissioned by **March 2025*.
