Former CMD of NHPC, Shri A K Singh, expressed his pride and jubilation as NHPC is accorded the prestigious Navratna status. He emphasized that this recognition was long overdue, highlighting the company’s remarkable journey from a 180 MW company to nearing 10,000 MW in hydro power capacity. Singh attributed this success to the unwavering dedication of NHPC’s workforce, supervisors, and officers, guided by able management and supported by the Ministry of Power.
He congratulated all NHPCians and encouraged them to strive for Maharatna status in the near future. This achievement underscores NHPC’s commitment to excellence and sustainable growth, cementing its position as a leader in India’s energy sector.
