Shri A.K. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC met Shri Nongthombam Biren Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur at Manipur Bhawan, New Delhi on 20th August 2020. During the meeting, issues related to the signing of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and arrangement of the grant of Rs.400 Crore for implementation of Loktak Downstream Hydroelectric Project (2 X33 MW) in Noney District of Manipur were discussed. The meeting was very fruitful and the signing of PPA is expected shortly.
