Greater Noida, 24-02-2024: In a resounding acknowledgment of its commitment to innovative tourism promotion and environmental sustainability, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) clinched the prestigious ‘Best Tourism State Board’ award at the South Asian Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) exhibition held in Greater Noida.
Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture Department and Managing Director of MPTB, expressed elation over the achievement, emphasizing the department’s unwavering dedication to ensuring accessibility, convenience, and safety for tourists exploring the state. The accolade reflects MPTB’s outstanding efforts in providing experiential tourism and promoting the diverse destinations of Madhya Pradesh.
During the three-day SATTE exhibition, Shri. Yuvraj Padole, Deputy Director of Event and Marketing Department, received the honor on behalf of the Board. MPTB showcased the state’s tourism offerings to a diverse audience, including travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, and stakeholders from India and abroad.
The award recognizes MPTB’s excellence in tourism, infrastructure development, economic upliftment of local communities, and preservation of the state’s rich culture and heritage. Visitors to the MPTB stall enjoyed virtual tours of iconic destinations such as Sanchi, Amarkantak, and Narmada Ghats, further enhancing the tourism experience.
