Indian Oil Commissions First EV charging Station in the premises of DM, South East, New Delhi

New Delhi, Indian OIl, the Energy of India has been continuously working towards its Goal of Strengthing the Green Resolve. In this regards the first EV Charging Station in the office premises of DM, South East Delhi was inaugurated by Mr Shyam Bohra, Executive Director & State Head in the presence of Ms IshaKhosla, IAS, DM South East Delhi.

This project which is being run under the direct supervision of Chief Secretary, Delhi and Executive Director and State Head, Delhi State Office, Indian OIl. This is the first of its kind EV charging Station wherein the EV charging Station has been put up at third party site byIndianOIl as till now the Corporation has been putting up EV charging Stations at Its Retail outlets. IndianOil has been allotted 248 sites in South East, central Districts of Delhi and NDMC area. These are primarily MCD parking Sites and Government Offices.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Shyam Bohra stressed on the green resolve of Indian Oil and said that Indian Oil shall be a leader in this field too and shall commission the charging stations on priority in a phase wise manner. Mr Bohra said that with rising number of EVs, it is our responsibility to provide maximum number of EV Charging stations for the customers so that this step towards EV revolution gains more and more momentum.

Ms. IshaKhosla (IAS), DM South East Delhi appreciated the efforts of IOCL towards the environment and urged to step up setting up of such stations in Delhi on priority.

 The event was attended by senior officials of DM Office, Government of Delhi and Indian Oil Officials.
