This PSA Oxygen plant set up in the Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, set up by Indraprastha Gas Limited as a CSR initiative shall be operated and maintained by the IGL for one year. The plant is unique in nature and has a dual facility of filling cylinders as well as feeding hospital manifold. Capacity of this plant is 60 NM3/Hr and can give Oxygen with purity of upto 96%. This plant is one of its kinds in the entire Delhi NCR region, which can also fill 12 Jumbo Type-D Medical oxygen cylinders per hour through an oxygen compressor at 150 bar. Apart from providing medical oxygen support to the beds connected to hospital manifold through pipes, this plant can also provide oxygen in the empty Oxygen Cylinders. There is no requirement of any specialized raw material. The PSA uses the technology, whereby a chemical acting as Zeolites Sieve is used which filters Nitrogen and other gases from Air and end product is Medical Oxygen. The PSA oxygen plants use the cleaner and cheaper tech and can be easily operated. It is safe and reliable source to obtain oxygen. Dependency on transportation goes down to zero. This plant is fully automatic. It needs only electrical power for running the system. This Machine automatically enters into standby mode when level in the storage tank reaches its set limit, if consumption of oxygen is low and also it takes very less space.
