Govt Approves New Board Appointments in Key Energy PSUs


New Delhi, March 27, 2025 – In a move to strengthen leadership in major public sector enterprises (CPSEs), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment and reappointment of Non-Official Directors (NoDs) across several state-run energy companies.
Based on recommendations from the Search Committee, these appointments will be valid for one year or until further notice. The decision impacts several top energy firms, including GAIL, ONGC, HPCL, BPCL, Oil India, Engineers India Ltd., and Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
