New Delhi, January 5, 2024: Engineers India Limited (EIL) showcased its commitment to innovation and technological advancements during its 2nd “R&D Day” at the EIL Office Complex in Gurugram. The Chief Managing Director (C&MD) of EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla, presided over the inaugural session as the Chief Guest, accompanied by functional Directors, senior officials, and employees of EIL.
Distinguished guests, including Dr Harender Singh Bisht (Director, CSIR-IIP), Shri Sujoy Chaudhury (Director- Planning & BD, IOCL), Shri V. K. An important highlight of the event was the inauguration of EIL’s new pilot facility, “Srijan Kendra,” by C&MD, EIL. This state-of-the-art building will house pilot plants dedicated to various technologies developed by EIL, either independently or in collaboration with industry partners and national laboratories.
C&MD, EIL, expressed optimism about the future, stating, “Innovation culture and the collaborative approach shall provide momentum to our R&D efforts towards the development of cost-effective technological solutions catering to the industry’s demand in the near future.” The acknowledgment and congratulatory remarks were extended to the R&D team for their recent achievements.
