Dr. Ankur Baruah Takes Helm as Director (HR) at Oil India Limited

New Delhi: Dr. Ankur Baruah has been appointed as the Director (Human Resources) of Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Oil & Gas CPSE under the Government of India, effective April 16, 2025. Having previously served as Executive Director (HR) at OIL, Dr. Baruah brings over 30 years of distinguished leadership and expertise in human resource management to his new role.
An MBA in Human Resources and a PhD holder in Business Administration, Dr. Baruah is also certified in IPMA Project Management and accredited in Psychometric Testing. His extensive experience spans critical HR domains, including manpower planning, talent acquisition, performance management, stakeholder engagement, and change management, all of which have been instrumental in shaping OIL’s workforce strategies.
Significant contributions have been made by Dr. Baruah in promoting progressive HR practices, which have solidified OIL’s reputation as a leader in the energy sector.
