In two years time, India Energy Week has differentiated itself from other global energy conferences and exhibitions. He further added that the number of exhibitors in IEW ’24 is going to be more than 900 which is a 30% growth, there is 25% increase in the exhibition area and about 46% in revenue from exhibitions. There will be a 81% increase in total revenue from private firms and a 44% increase in a number of private sponsors.
He also shared that the duration has been increased from 3 to 4 days and for technical sessions the number of papers have increased from 1000 to 2000. The energy Vision – Energy Independence 2047 and Energy Atmanirbharta will encourage and foster startups and integrate them into the energy value chain, which will be a focus for IEW ’24. The revenue generation from private and international participants is expected to be 20% more than in 2023 from the sale of exhibition space. He also mentioned how India Energy Week was an integrated event replacing India Energy Forum and Petrotech.
Indeed IEW ’24 promises to be an exciting affair with International and Domestic participation by many Private & PSUs Oil, Gas and Renewables giants. This annual event showcases the achievements of Indian Companies and Administrative machinery dealing with the energy sector.
The standards set are very high and much is expected from the Technical Sessions, Exhibits and MOUs planned. Over the years, India has emerged as one of the world’s biggest energy markets and is poised to become energy-independent soon. India has always championed Energy Democracy and Equity for mankind. Events like the India Energy Week are a brilliant opportunity to re-iterate the same.
