New Delhi: In a glittering ceremony held in New Delhi on December 20, 2023, Ms Vartika Shukla, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Engineers India Limited (EIL), was honoured with the esteemed “CMD of the Year” award in the Navratna category at the 13th PSE Excellence Awards, orchestrated by the Indian Chamber of Commerce.

This accolade stands as a testament to the exceptional leadership demonstrated by Ms. Shukla, who has been recognized for her inspired guidance, policy advocacy, the cultivation of strategic alliances, and innovative contributions in the fields of energy, environment, and sustainability. The recognition underscores the pivotal role played by Ms. Shukla in steering EIL toward numerous triumphs and her instrumental role in successfully executing prestigious projects in high-impact sectors.

During the 13th PSE Excellence Awards, EIL emerged as the runner-up in four significant categories, namely “Operational Performance Excellence,” “Corporate Governance,” “Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability,” and “Inclusivity- Contribution of Women and Differently-Abled In.”
