Full support and cooperation to NHPC-Govt. of Sikkim

Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC made a visit to Sikkim along with Shri Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical), NHPC. In his maiden visit to Sikkim after taking over charge as CMD, NHPC, Shri A.K. Singh met Shri Sonam Lama, Minister of Rural Management & Development, Govt. of Sikkim and discussed various pending issues related to 520 MW Teesta-IV HE Project in Sikkim. CMD, NHPC also apprised the  Minister on the status of other NHPC projects in Sikkim including 500 MW Teesta-VI Project. The Hon’ble Minister assured his full support and cooperation to NHPC.

Earlier upon their arrival, CMD, NHPC and Director (Technical) were given a warm welcome by Shri D. Chattopadhyay, Executive Director, Siliguri Region, NHPC, Shri Sahadev Khatua, General Manager (I/c), Teesta-V Power Station, Shri Sandeep Kumar, CEO of Teesta-VI HE Project and other senior officers of NHPC at Gangtok.
