Multi-storey indoor mini stadium will be built at Uchana-Dushyant Chautala

Chandigarh,Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Chautala said that multi-storey indoor mini stadium will be built at Uchana constituency. This stadium will be built on the lines of the stadium built in district Sirsa. Grounds for many sports grounds will be prepared in this stadium.Mr. Dushyant Chautala made this announcement while addressing the people at a programme organized at the Civil Hospital in Uchana. Earlier, he started the ‘Mahara Hara Bhara Uchana Abhiyan’ by planting Triveni in the hospital premises.He said that under this campaign 10,250 saplings will be planted in Uchana constituency, out of which 250 will be Triveni, 5,000 fruit bearing and 5,000 shade-providing tree saplings will be planted. Today, 60 Trivenis were planted in different schools and public places in the constituency. He said that the ‘Mahara Hara Bhara Uchana Abhiyan’ will run for 70 days. All the Trivenis planted under this campaign will be connected to GPS system to keep a track of their condition from time to time. A Volunteer and a Motivator will also be kept to look after these Trivenis.

He said that to increase greenery in district Jind, about 6 lakh saplings will be planted during this monsoon season, out of which 1,70,000 saplings by school going students, 1,80,000 saplings by Gram Panchayats and 1,25,000 saplings Plants will be planted by the Forest Department.He said that 500 saplings will be given free of cost to each Gram Panchayat under ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan’. They will plant these saplings on various panchayat lands and public places as per their wish. He said that saplings will also be provided to those who are willing to plant saplings. Such individuals can get the saplings from the Forest Department’s office by filling the requisite form.He urged the people to use face masks and maintain social distancing to combat Corona pandemic. People who attended the programme were wearing face masks while maintaining social distancing. He said that the habit of maintaining social distancing will contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic across the country.
