BPCL, Mumbai Port Authority Join Hands for India’s First Green Fuel Ecosystem

MUMBAI, OCTOBER 3, 2024,In a significant step towards reducing India’s carbon footprint, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has signed a landmark MoU with Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) and Mumbai Port Sustainability Foundation (MPSF) to establish a state-of-the-art green fuel ecosystem at Mumbai Port.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Sarbananda Sonowal, Honorable Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, Government of India, during the launch of the Cruise Bharat Mission.
