NHPC, under the initiative of ‘Swachhata Pakhwada – Swachhata Hi Seva 2023’, organized a Shramdaan programme for cleanliness on 1st October 2023. Led by Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel) of NHPC, the senior officers and employees of NHPC participated in a cleanliness drive in the historic Mughal Bridge over Budhia Wala Nala, Santosh Nagar, and the surrounding areas in Faridabad.
The Shramdaan programme saw enthusiastic participation from school children and local residents, who joined hands with NHPC employees to make the campaign a success. Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel) NHPC, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of cleanliness. He urged everyone to keep their surroundings clean and tidy.
This programme was organized by NHPC as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his birth anniversary. NHPC is observing ‘Swachhata Pakhwada – Swachhata Hi Seva 2023’ campaign at its Corporate Office and all its locations from 15th September to 2nd October 2023.
