Rishikesh, 30thApril, 2020: COVID-19 is still a considerable threat to our national public health system, various state Governments are also taking measures to control this menace. Govt. of Uttarakhand is working with Govt. of India in providing relief to common people. As most of our projects are located in Uttarakhand THDCIL has decided to contribute Rs. 1.45 Crore in Uttarakhand Disaster Management Authority under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Rs. 55 Lakh by way of one day’s basic pay of THDCIL Employees from the salary for the month of May 2020 in Chief Minister Relief Fund to support fight against COVID-19. Hence, the total contribution amounts of THDCIL to Rs. 02 Crore (approx).
THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1513 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam & HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) and Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan & 63MW at Dwarka in Gujarat to its credit.
